Thank You. Akira Winner Livestream Tonight
We did it. Thank you so much. 289 of you helped bring this project into existence. I've been dreaming of making comics ever since I was a kid. Only recently, I was reminiscing how me and one of my very close high school friends used to draw in the margins of our text books, and do little flip book animations. We even drew a superhero comic. Actually, Tony pencilled a pretty cool page, he was always a much better artist than me, and I inked it with ballpoint pens. Pretty dodgy inking job, but we all have to start somewhere.
And that's what I've learned, since 2006/2007 when I really committed to making comics. Just start, and keep going. Doesn't matter how many bad drawings or shonky comic pages we draw, just keep drawing and it will get better.
Then years later, here we are. The World’s First Full Length Glow-In-The-Dark Comic!
Preorders will still be up for some time in case you missed grabbing a copy of the book, until I can finish the art and get it ready for the printers:
For now, I'm going to take a day off for a breather, then back to it. It's great that the campaign is done. However the kickstarter and the campaign is not finished until you are holding the book in your hands or reading it on your device.
